An Important Update For systems@work Android Users

The following article relates to an important announcement from Google which may impact clients using older versions of systems@work’s mobile applications on Android (iOS users are unaffected).

Key Google Policy Change (Effective August 31, 2025)

With effect from September 1st Google Play now mandates:

• New app submissions and updates must target Android 15 (API 35) or higher.
• Existing apps must target Android 14 (API 34) or higher to remain discoverable by new users on devices running Android versions newer than the app’s target level.
• Apps targeting Android 13 (API 33) or lower will no longer appear for new users on devices running Android 14 or above.

What This Means for Our Users

Starting September 1, 2025, new systems@work users on Android 14+ who try to download Version 7 or lower of systems@work mobile App will be unable to do so.

• iOS users are unaffected.
• Version 8 users of our software are unaffected.
• Any Android user on version 14 or above will not be able to download our app unless they have version 8 or later.
• Any users already using Version 7 or lower will continue to be able to use the app.

We recommend that all clients look to upgrade to the latest version of our software.
